Finally caught that palm tree I've been chasing for so long!

82% IV (14 A 12D 11S) 1629CP Exeggutor with E/P.

It's not the best palm tree, but at least I know I can solo them with a Cloyster and maybe a bit of backup from some fire types. The boss had Seed Bomb. At first I've started with a Typhlosion, Charizard and Houndour hoping it would go down fast... but then turns out they got owned pretty fast, while my Cloyster decimated his other half of the HP way faster than any of my fire types could.

My Typhlosion has 2073 CP with E/OH, while Cloyster has 1910 CP with FB/A. Sometimes I think I'd need an army of cloysters to solo T2s.

Haven´t met Eggy on any raid yet, but all my T2s so far have been a walk in the park. First T3 today, 2 against Flareon, also no problems (L32 + L29; suboptimal team).

For me, at L26, T2s are kind of a problem when somehow Weezing with Shadow Ball can knock out almost my whole team of useful counters (Rhydon, Golem, Mr Mime, Nidoking, Starmie). Cloyster still resisted and dealt the most damage to it but still timed out in the end. Probably the next I'll try to solo will be Muk, now that I have my palm tree with me. But got a spare pass for tomorrow so if I see another eggy, I'll take it on.

Did you solo the Flareons or were you in a group?

Flareon and Jolteon are impossible to solo even at lvl 40. We were 2 players, lvl 32 + lvl 29, suboptimal teams. Both had 2 untouched mons when Flareon went down.

Jolteon is pretty easy. We just knocked him down 2 days ago (just me and a friend) with 4 mons untouched each.

He just killed our 1st Rhydon and half bar of our 2nd one.

Is Jolteon really impossible though? The real thing that seems to be stopping from soloing Jolteon is the slow damage ground types do to it (EQ is pretty slow). But are there some mons that could dish more damage than EQ + Super effectiveness + Stab all together? For example, an army of 100% IV Tyranitar with Iron Tail + Crunch. How much damage would those do?

Never tried Jolteon solo, but with only one friend, it was a joke. We took 2 Rhydons each (MS/EQ and RS/EQ), 1 Golem and I don't remember the other 3.

Jolteon has just the time to kill our 1st Rhydon and took out half bar of the 2nd before being dead.

I was pretty much surprised how fast and easy we did this.

What attack did the Jolt have? The 2 Jolts I've tried to solo had Thunder and Thunderbolt. But I don't have MS on my Rhydon and Golem, I have EQ on them though, and on Nidoking. I don't have best counters so I've added help from my Typhlosion (somehow did a lot more damage), Houndoom, and Umbreon. Added Cloyster to 2nd Jolt fight for giggles, but my flipping Rhydon got me into a timeout before Cloyster even got to fight. Both times, the Jolts had 50% HP left.

Congrats! I remember getting my first one too after it had been so elusive in my area for so long over 8 months ago!

Thanks. There are nests of Exeggcute around here but they're too far from my house. And I'm still waiting for an Eevee nest, because unless I can somehow solo a jolteon, I'll have to keep hoping I can find or hatch a good enough eevee. 25 egg hatches and 5 captured eevees and I only had one good enough to be an Umbreon.

Don't wait for an Eevee nest, there hasn't been any in one year. Just like Larvitar, Dratini and evolved forms.

Larvitar and Dratini were said to never nest. (although I did catch a Dratini and a Larvitar recently but not nests of course).
Last eevee nests in my place was:
- 18th Great Migration
Apr 6, 2017

Also, there are active eevee nests in my country but they are cities away.
