I have some I have evolved from high level random IV, just to get an instant fighter with no investment - and I have powered up hatches and raid catches to ensure I have some high quality/high IV in the mix.

I go with eggs. My line up is raikou, Zapdos, followed by four eggs. Each egg gets off about two solar beams. If I have to come back in, the auto-select picks some of my dragonites, and I go with that.

Three I particularly like. Venusaur and Victreebel tied well maybe Victreebel a bit more as its “more plant” in appearance. Meganium in the third spot.

Venusaur and Victreebel are both 97% IVs and I’m powering them up. Out of candy at the moment for Venusaur but I’m going to max Victreebel.

I have a perfect IV Chikorita wild catch and a 97% IV raid Bayleef, now Meganium. I’m going to power up both eventually just don’t have the candy for them.

Exeggutor with BS/SoB is head-and-shoulders above any other grass pokemon.

Vileplume and Meg. Just because they are good looking.

I only have a few hundreds (Machamp and Venusaur) that are worth maxing out. Venusaur is one of my favorite Mons, and I absolutely LOVE using her. I also have a nearly maxed out Legacy Eggy with Con/SB that's a 98%. It just wrecks everything. I remember the good old days when I would wait for that 3 star egg to hatch and it was Vaporeon. That was my favorite 3 star Mon that I would solo. My success percentage was probably about 75 %, with a pretty good sample size of battles. Now THAT was SOOO MUCH FUN. It was a challenge every time, and when I would win it would almost always be with only like 5 seconds left to spare!

Exeggutor is the only one I use but I really like Sunflora and Bellosom

SW/SoB Ho-oh has now replaced my BS/SoB Eggy and VW/SoB Venus

I only ever used a non-Eggy grass attacker for prestiging in the old gym system, Tangela and a 1100cp Venusaur were dear favorites back then. For raids, Exeggutor is so much better than any other grass mon that I never saw any point in pouring stardust into the others.

But for battle exeggutor is my go to grass attackers, even for destroying bliisey tower in the old gym system
I use them so much, i struggle with unique challenge raid vs vaporeon cos i dont have another good level grass attacker ( i dont have any luck with electric also)

My favourite grass type is yet to come (Roserade gen 4), so for now I can live with my Eggies (98%, 96%, 2x 91%) and soon my new 100% Victreebel and 100% Venusaur, at lvl 30. Then I'll have a full grass team that I am very satisfied with. It's just that while I'd like to invest in them even more, there's just little reason right now.

BS/SoB Egg is the best (I also like SB for gym dodging), but my favorite is VW/PW Tangela.

Overall, I love the Eggs. I am also fond of my 2412 level 37 Venus and 2268 fully maxed 100IV Victreebel that I wish was more relevant. I’m glad I get to use them soloing omastar.
