Favorite Catch and Hatch this Year?
Answers
Favorite hatch was Chansey, after 1,200 eggs... to complete the Gen 1 pokedex. I thought it would never come.
Favorite catch was a level 29 Snorlax, after grinding for 3 hours and not catching anything good. Was packing it in and it showed up on the radar, right as I was walking through the front door.
Dragonites with DB/DC are still the best attacker in the game. But yeah it's getting boring using it as an attacker steamrolling through gyms. That's why I'm so anxious for gen 2. I'm literally getting worried that I'm losing interest in this game because I really loved it for months. Btw, I think I've mastered this DB/DC nite. I can maximize attacks and dodge everything without getting hit in my sleep. I've memorized almost every moveset of the top tier defenders and know exactly how many DB can fit between each defending fast move and charge moves. How many DB I can get in after I use DC during long windup moves like HB. Also things like from the start of a battle of Rhydon with any quick move set I get in 3 DB, dodge, 1 DB, dodge, 3 DB, dodge, DC, DB, DB, dodge, 6 DB, etc. Ask me about snorlax Lapras vapes eggys gyarados of any move set and I'll tell you exactly how many DB/D.C. Dodged etc etc etc bla bla bla about them. It's getting boring as hell now.
I literally can do the same with Vaporeon with Water Gun/Hydropump, Gardos Bite/HP and my Arcanine with Bite/FT lol I've over used those Mon in every situation. I'm getting to the point I'm getting pretty bored too, and tried to make games within the game. I've tried to mix it up lately and use Slowbro vs Snorlax, and a 500 cp ditto vs Dragonite lol. Personally I can't wait for one of my personal favs Kingdra and Typholosion. I am worried some Mon like Tyranatar are going to dominate the gym scene and cause me to grow bored of them.
Dude, I've been holding on to my 100 IV horsea for kingdra for months! Haha.
I get some enjoyment from prestiging where I use variously different mons like wigglytuff and actually need some thought process and strategy. Btw, wigglytuff is fun as hell to use with his pimp smacking. But attacking gyms, that is a grind because I want to take it down as fast as possible and always seem to end up using my three dragonites for that.
Catch: A 91% dragonair that became my only dragonite. He got db/dc too. It was literally the last catch I needed for the evolution as well. Any other dratini catch and I would have evolved a 71% dragonair. Still good, but not the same.
Hatch: Either My 82% lapras with fb/b (dragonite destroyer) or my 100% chansey.
