Haha, that probably is a coincidence.

Leaning more towards Trolling, though I'd more say "Group Signalling" rather than Trolling.

At least one group of people where I play have a bunch of accounts like this, for a family that plays. There's (X)Dad, (X)Mom, The(X), and one other that I don't remember. I raid with them on occasion, and the entire family will pull up in the mini-van and we've got enough to do just about any Raid Boss between the 5 of us.
