extra rewards for soloing bosses?
I soloed my first tier 3 boss today, a Vaporeon. This is nice but i get no more rewards than some noob who has 4 or 5 devices to solo whatever they please.
Should soloing bosses get you extra rewards? Might actually give a bonus incentive to people who don't start new accounts every week.

More balls yes. More bonus gifts, not.
The bonus is caped and based on number number of balls. More balls more gifts but increase only at 9 balls and 12 balls for tier 3;
9 to 11 balls gives all the same amount of bonus gifts and
12 to 14 balls gives same bonus gifts
For example. I did a machamp (I can solo easily) with a lvl 26 kid on the same team and I got 12 balls;
6 taking down the boss
3 for team doing most damage
3 for Doing 30% or more damage.
If I soloed it I whould have got the same amount. Of balls: 12, this gives the same amount of bonus gifts.
The only way to lower to 11 balls and thus lowering the gifts is to do less than 30% damage; in practice impossible if you can solo it.
So no. There is no actual bonus in raiding solo apart from convenience
