Use it for defensive purpose because he can get pretty high, or if you don't want to waste dust and candies cause you already have a better Exeggcute to evolve then don't do that. I'm about to evolve my 7th one hoping for confusion psychic?

Would make quite a useful general use Poke. I tend to use my Confusion/SB as an attacker, but he does okay as defender, similarly my Confusion/P is generally used as a defender, but I've used him as an attacker.

for me its not important for a defender what ms you got. you need to save you stardust for your best attackers not for defenders.you can also put your best attackers in gyms to place yourself at the highest of gym thou. all that matters in gym is CP. it will easily take down anyways atleast you got yourself survive a couple of hours if you got the highest cp.
