Exeggutor Question

I have a 84iv 2454 CP Exeggutor with confusion and psychic. It's my only decent iv confusion exeggutor. I have gotten 3 charge TMs since TMs became available in thinking about using one going for solar beam what do you guys think? Should I use one? If I get seed bomb should I stop and wait to see if I should just keep him as a defender when the meta changes?

He could be useful for Machamp raids.

I wouldn't use a TM on him unless you really need a C/SoB in your lineup.

I don't need machamps though

Lol, amac means using it for battling boss Machamps. You can still get decent(?) rewards even if you don't want the boss.

I understood what it meant, I get one free raid pass a day I wouldn't wanna waste it on trying to catch a machamp, so there's no real purpose in me battling a raid machamp

In that case, I still agree with amac. I suppose you can TM it if you don't have a strong grass type already?

My personal preference is to keep double type move mons. Psy/Psy, Grass/Grass, etc. Especially, now with SE damage being more important than STAB, it's nice knowing you're doing bonus damage on all hits and not just fast or charge. Without checking, I doubt there is any guy who's weak to both grass and psychic.

Also as amac said, he's strong into Machamp and also Gengar. Looking ahead, a bunch of the legendaries have resistance to both Grass and Psychic so he won't be much use there anyways.

But it's easy for me to say I've got loads of high level pure grass eggys and only 1 pure psyhic, and probably 2 mixed.
