ex raid whys?

I’m hoping they wide release mewtwo cuz this ex raid thing is killing me. I’ve yet to get one pass and some ppl have gotten 6-10

It's pretty much a lottery system. Even if you do fulfill the prerequisites for the EX Raid System as stated by Niantic, it's still no guarantee that you'll receive an EX Raid Pass. I'm hearing people who have done over 300 raids in sponsored gyms or gyms in parks, with silver/gold badges, still haven't received a single pass, while someone who raids in said gyms (probably bronze badge or less) one time gets a pass. There are people who have received EX Raid Passes multiple times, which leaves out people who haven't received one. With a system like this, you have to get lucky.

In my town the same gym went back to back weeks. And it was the only gym with an ex raid. So since there are no raids during the week in an ex gym, you guessed it, the only people who got a pass week 2 were the same ones who went in week 1.
