I used to raid a lot and was disappointed when I didn’t receive a pass the first several times out while the people I raided with all got multiple invites. But now I don’t care about a mewtwo and only raid a few times a week. I probably wouldn’t go to an ex raid unless it was really convenient

Who knows. Fridays ex raid is at a location that I and many of my regular rivals have raided. Many people didn't receive a pass this time. Interestingly enough every trainer with 6 invites did not get their 7th despite having raided there one day before invitations went out and at least one other tine in the week before. Many times in the previous month. I don't think anyone but a programmer can answer how it really works.
