Evolve eevee

I remember someone had asked in the past how to evolve an eevee into vaporeon even after he used the "rainer" username. And some guys told him a few other name tricks that may work.

Is that true?

I just caught a high lv and high iv eevee and I am pretty sure that if I evolve it ranodomly, I will end with flareon or jolteon with discharge.

You are lucky. I think vp has the highest prob? I evolved a lot and get a lot of vp with WG/WP.

Discharge is pretty good now, it's actually better than Thunder after Gen2 updates / rebalancing. And Flareon with Fire Spin / Overheat is a top5 DPS attacker right now.

Eevee isn't exactly "Vape or bust" anymore. Good luck, sir.

Some people have suggested me these names. I got two Vaporeons using Mizuki and Aquana. Not sure if it was pure luck or the names really worked. Anyway, here's a list of names to try.

Mizuki is Rainer for japan.
(if any other name besides Rainer works, I would bet on this one)

Showers is Vaporeon for japan.
Aquana is Vaporeon for germany.
Aquali is Vaporeon for france.
Shamid is Vaporeon for korea.

do you know other names for espalon?

Never heard of Espalon, which gen is it?

I think the same gen as umbalon

I was part of the original converstaion, and quite a few people have tried it since then - and reported back their findings.

Unfortunately it does not work. We had a couple of false positive reports, but we got just as many negative outcomes - all it takes is one negative outcome to debunk it.

Tried with Aquana and got a WG/HP vap ! This is my 2nd one with HP so this makes my day. As it was a 93% lvl 28 Eevee I maxed him out right away. Thanks again for the tip ;-)

Update: just evolved using the name Aquana.
I saw it searching in the web, too. (I used it because I couldn't decide if its better to write japan name with
latin characters or or Japanese)

I got vaporeon with HP!!!!!!

Propably though it's pure luck and no trick.
