You may like to evolve your dragonair if you have one, remember that to evolve the one which has a good IV. As of my team, there are something still missing in it, like Dragonite, lapras, exeggutor and gyarados. My snorlax is better than yours, but still too low CP to place it in gyms. I would like to keep Vaporeons/Exeggutors/Arcanines as the three strongest Pokémon of the 3 types of starter Pokémon.

Evolve?
Im lvl 29 and have not completed pokedex. I have 126 and 12 more new with enough candys. Still missing dragonite, lapras, jynx, kabutops and 16 candys for alakazam. I was waiting for christmas event to the evolutions but so far no news about it so I am wondering if I should do it today (its the 7 day streak). I think if I was at least lvl 30 I would do it but since I am in early 29 I dont know... what would you do?
and since I am missing some of the best mons, what would you keep for your att/def team? Vapes exxegutors? I only caught one snorlax with 123cp, which after the cp changes it went all the way up to an amazing 138cp xD so snorlax is kind of "missing" too

Nobody knows for sure what other events Niantic may run during Xmas.
But my 2 cents: Every event, Niantic has done something "new" - For Halloween, it was double candy and extra buddy candy. For Thanksgiving, it was double XP / Stardust and Ditto. The latest is Holiday Pikachu + new babies.
All this to say, my sense is that if Niantic does anything additional for Xmas, it will be something different and not a repeat of things past. So yes, go ahead and enjoy the evolution party.
I would wait personally, you don't gain much just for the 7 day streak and if you are a free player with limited lucky eggs etc,,,no one knows what event will be coming to take the chance.
I did my mass evolve party JUST before the thanksgiving event and regretted it since it was my last lucky egg (lvl 28).
They may only have new events, but for all we know, they will do a multi day event and have different bonuses on different days so that's something to consider as well.
Since I think the Dec Holidays are a bigger deal than Thanksgiving or Halloween, I'm thinking they will do something half decent. Also, you can do the evolve NEXT week since that's still only Dec 21st and any promotion would be started or at latest, start Dec 25th.
I would personally wait if you don't have a nice number of lucky eggs, if you have for example 7 or 8 do it, but if you have an small amount like 2 or 3 I would wait until we know more if there gonna be a Christmas event, I bet for now a lot of people has hatched their eggs to refill them and try to get the new babies, I am sitting at 8 10k eggs just in case we have a Christmas event, I always keep the hope even when I think that we won't have any more event until next year. What can you lose for waiting 10 days? It is not a huge deal.
My guess is that if they finally do a Christmas event (hat pikachu does not count for me, it's just a cute gift) we will know something by next week for sure.
Right now I have only one, but I will reach lvl 30 in 10 days or so. Since I have 150 evolutions to do now, if I use the one that I have now, I have to get candys enough for 80 evolutions in the 10 days. The problem is if the event happens during the 10 days period. Only then I think I would have lost XP. If not I think its the same because in last events I could only do 2 lucky eggs (~150 evolutions)

It's still quite early for a holiday event. The last events were only a week or so long with no news from niantic beforehand. Maybe you can save up some more(and possibly better of the current) evolutions in the meantime. No guarantees but it wouldn't hurt to wait.
It may not even be a relevant event if it happens though. At least you would have a Christmas present to yourself :)
I would wait to see if there is any additional "holiday" things added. But the new babies and the holiday Pichaku might be it.
Just because it is the 7 day streak doesn't mean too much. Wait 1 more week and see if there is anything else added. You will be kicking yourself if you do the mass evolve party now and they add another event.
Waiting one more week isn't a big deal. Maybe you will catch some better 'mons by then too.

But perhaps they'll give us double XP for a few days since it's Christmas and then you can make a lot of XP with some evolutions.
I did two mass evolutions last time and gained like 400-450k XP.

I'm level 30 (as of last night) and missing around 6 Pokemon. Have only one snorlax (hatched) and one Lapras (caught) since the very beginning so I feel you're pain!

My problem is that I have more than 150 evolutions to do and my bag is only 300 and I have 290. So if there is going to be an event it has to be in a few days or else I wont have enough space. I dont really want to upgrade the bag right now because I am saving coins for incubators. Since in level 30 I will receive 3, is not that many coins for 5 more. And I cant do 5-6 gyms each day. Some days I dont even do any, so coins is not that easy for me.
