Had to comment. This is a fantastic idea, I'm actually seeing lures and people again. My girlfriend is playing again just because it's not all weedles and she has a chance to evolve her precious vulpix.

Hopefully this has generated money and interest and niantic will continue with creative events.I know it prompted me to drop some extra cash for incubators. You all seeing more activity?

Agreed, i dont know why Niantic didnt thought about this before. these kind events are extremely important on mobile games.

2 Options: Do an event when many people are playing your game, or do an event when people stop playing your game to make them play again.

I'm definitely seeing more activity as well. It's been fun recapturing a little bit of what it was like the first few weeks.

Yup. I was about to give up. Then it happened. I got my first snorlax hatch and it was during the freaking event. Now I have over 80 candy and no idea what to do with it. Best hatch ever. All those onix were worth it.

I was about to quit being active, but this Halloween event made me delay this decision with some days. I couldn't be more happier with my 40 growlith candies from my 5 km egg!!

My wife at 2 10k hatch back to back last night, a dratini and a snorlax, 60 candy each! Then I hatched a 10k and it was an onix lol. Sad day

Events are great, but the disappointment and frustration from getting exceptionaly bad moveset on pokémon I grinded for ages is still superior.

Still waiting for some item (for pokecoins ideally, or just random drop from pokestops) that allowed me to reroll attacks anew. At least we will not be completely screwed after evolution and hope will still exist but will be costy.

You wouldn't worry that everyone would have the exact same moveset?
