Event speculations
this is a pointless topic and just baseless speculations just to kill time. So please, do not reply that this is a pointless topic and just baseless speculations.
What do you expect and hope for the coming event?
I expect:
- double candy, makes sense with a new generation
- more XP, maybe not full double XP but just 2xXP for catching
- something with eggs: special 2k eggs with gen3 starters and maybe some gen3 10km species in 2k eggs
- gift boxes: 2 series of boxes lasting one week each. Similar boxes as what we've seen so far with stardust boosters.
- more legendaries. There's no way we will just get Groudon only during the event...
What I hope for and maybe will happen:
- ... ALL legendaries returning for 2 weeks (expect Mewtwo of course)
- what I really really really hope for is sale on storage (mons and items). I can't swallow paying 200 coins for just +50 storage. There was a 50% off sale at the beginning of gen2 right? managing items is the most annoying thing in the game for me now

I obviously have no idea what will happen. Is it even confirmed that there will be an event at all? In any case, I am doing the usual preparations:
- Saving up coins as much as possible to buy whatever will be necessary and cheap.
- Saving up the last use of those incubators I use on 10km eggs. This will allow me to flush the egg box fast in case of need. For the same reason I am saving up a small number (4) of 2km eggs as fodder for the permanent incubator.
- I put the next mass evolution on hold in case of double XP. Also, but minor, for double candy from transferring to the candy factory.
The one thing that is really hard to do is postponing the powering up of my new Groudon. Just in case a double candy event happens that also affects the exchange rate for rare-to-legendary candy. I do not really expect this to happen. But if it does and I just used up my accumulated stash of rare candy ...
