EVENT: Day 7, Day 8 (last day / yesterday)

Morning, Trainers.

What did you come away with during this Water Festival event? I def got some good Gyarados (no DTxO tho), and some Lapras ? too.

Day 7: 1 Lapras, terrible weather, rainy
Day 8: 1 Lapras, worked so didn't play as much as I wanted, finished up event at water biome, grabbed Karp for next Gyarados evolve

It was a really good event, as I made the best out it. Outside of some bad days weather wise, it was pretty cool. The last two days weren't good compared to the others, but last night I hatched one of these ? so I'll be focusing on that. Easter event is right around the corner too!

I didn't get a Shiny fish. Got 3 low IV Lapras, a bunch of Seels, nothing more. Dratini family just went AWOL during the whole time. And I live in a Water biome!
Not a fan of this event personally.

Take it you got 20+ Lapras candy, that's cool, or just some to use in battle. Hey, Seels (Dewgong's) are great for taking down Dragonites, lol.

I did play. Even though it was my kid's spring break, I got out as much as I could. No shiny magikarp and nothing to note as far as water pokemon go. I mean there were a lot of squirtles, but those are pretty common here already.

I hatched 3 x Dratini (and 1 x Larvitar).
Did not see any wild Dratinis (but caught 1 x wild Larvitar).
Did not catch any shiny Magikarp out of approx. 80 caught.
Caught 6 x Totodiles and 1 x Croconaw.
Did not see any sign of any Lapras (still waiting for Lapras and Aerodactyl to complete my Gen 1 pokedex).

Got sick of Poliwags, Staryus, Krabbys, Goldeens, Marills, Remoraids and Mantines (in roughly decreasing order).

Yeah, Remoraids are still everywhere, I think Central Park is a nest. ?

On the first day I caught 5 Dratinis. I caught enough Magicarp for a new Gyarados, which came with Bite/Crunch unfortunately. I also caught many, many useless Mantines, but no Lapras or shiny Magicarp. I preferred the Valentine-Event by far.

Yeah that event was sweet.

The whole water festival thing was kinda shit here in town, it was just the stuff you find by the river all the time frikking everywhere. Most useless event ever, I'm glad it's over.

Caught a decent number of Lapras, and actually a couple good ones. Although the area around my home spawns them even before the event. My first Lapras was caught off my balcony.

Also some high IV Karps. I have always farmed Karps even before the event so I have about >3,200 Karp candies now. Gonna wait until the next event for evolutions. Still no sight of shinies.

Nothing else really exciting to share.

I miss Pidgeys. I can't catch enough of them to do mass evolutions anymore.

i really get frustrated some time how nintac handle the spawning formula , some people have caught "couple " lapras , and i am here with not even on the radar for once since august 2016 . some time it is really hard to keep playing that game

I got about 600 magikarp candy so i can get 2 new gyarados, I got one 157 cp magikarp 87/89%

Plenty of chinchou which are not that common here, but I still don't have a lapras! And no shiny,

Should I evolve 175cp 82%? At level 30 I'm gonna leave it there as I need a defender, or go for first one or go for a 100% at level 18 I have 900 candy, any advice?

You want your Karp to crack 32hundo for great gym placement. 93's do, I believe 91's have to have 15 attack stat, so hold on a little longer. If not, then blast away and push it up! ?
