EVENT: Day 4, Day 5, Day 6
Sup, Trainers.
I see more people posting about their Lapras and Dratini, and even Shiny Karp catches. Grats. We still got a few more days, get it!
Day 4: 100iv Karp, 1 Gyarados (wild)
Day 5: 1 Shiny, 4 Lapras, good evolves
Day 6: 3 Lapras, good evolves
I also seen my 1st red Gyarados in the gym too, looks so mean! I've grinded about 1,000 Karp ? so far. My friend that I play with has grinded like 1400, and still no Shiny. I evolved 3 Dos' since the event, got all the new sets but Bite Crunch and Dragon Tail Outrage. Got that DT HP tho! ?

No shiny yet, but evolved a 93 IV Db/HP (hatched long time ago :);
Also maxed my previous Gya, evolved few days before gen 2 came out.
Caught to low level high IVs one that will evolve probably at a next magikarp event :)
Quite a few squirtles, chinchiuo and omanite (compare to the usual periods), 1 totodile, 1 cronco :), 0 Lapras (but hatched an ice combo one).
No wild gya, and no one mentioned in my city.
Still 2 days to go for me (it's morning here).
No fun in that, but it was tempting for a moment. Lol. I jabe taken two sick days to tru to get.one of these buggers. I work all nigjt tomorrow (nigjt shift and on way to bed now). Will wake.up early wed as.its my day off. If i get up.at.noon tjay gives.me 4 hours to make it happen (im east coast us). You cant play for.me, but you can pray for me. I have a big job imterview tomorrow too. I suppose.i meed luck there.more than in the game, bit both cant hurt. ;)
GrTz on the grinding - if ir doing it legit you earned it. ....i did get two.Lapras' though. But damg it - would rather a shiny!
I have been having very little luck this event.
- No shiny Magikarp.
- Highest IV Magikarp is 84%.
- Generally there haven't been all that many Magikarp around. Loads of terrible mon like Goldeen, Wooper, Remoraid, etc.
- NOTHING in the way of Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite
- NO Lapras.
- Lots of useless Mantines.
- Only caught one single Omanyte.
- Rarest mon I have caught have been Shackles, which was nice for the dex, but is otherwise useless.
Basically, the only good thing about this event is that I have caught quite a few Magikarp and will evolve my first Gyarados when the event ends tomorrow.

- Higher iv's have been spawning inland, haven't came across many in side of biomes outside of volume.
- Drat, Drag, Drag'nite were dramatically reduced on Day 2 (Thursday).
- Lapras is spawning on shorelines and water biomes but even more inland, in crowed places.
- Mantine is a good presitager, very high defensive stat.
- 1 Oman? Dude, you gotta go further.
- Shuckle? He has the highest defensive stat in the game, may be one of the best prestigers.
Yeah event ends on Wednesday, so you got time. Good stuff, hope you get a killer Gyarados! Listen, use what resources you need to to make your game better to have fun and enjoy yourself, just don't spoof, get out travel and meet people, see what they're saying, see what progress they're having. ?
