Espeon as defender

It's not really a good defender and has too low cp so I wouldn't for now anyway. If you wanted to power one up try and wait for a better Iv one; 90% plus and also one with higher cp to start with if possible. Vape has higher cp and is a better defender imo if you have the eevee candy

Considering the fact he isn't hard to get and has a sure way to evolve one, I won't power yours with that IV. CP is quite low for me to invest. Don't get me wrong. I have a powered up Espeon with the same movesets but with 96% IV. Hits like a truck but quite squishy. A Pinsir or Scyther will make quick work of an Espeon.

Espeon can be a great defender, and you have a great moveset. But, with 75IV, it won't have the CP needed to remain stable in a gym.

Espeon has barely enough CP to stay in a gym at 100% IV. At 75, you probably don't stand a chance unless the local gyms in your area are unusually weak.

So, I'd say let this one pass. No dust.

wait for gym rework

I have one with C/FS powered up, is a great attacker that has a few battles won while on defense. Is a decent defender between other defenders. C/Pb hits even harder, but on the bottom of a gym its not that good. So it depends on the gym meta around you.

But with the gym updates in a few weeks i wouldn't power anything up.
