Espeon buddy trick

I already used the "sakura-trick" to evolve an espeon. I want to evolve in an other espeon.

Is there proof that the buddy trick (walking 10km with and eevee and evolving by day) actually works? .

I asked the same question earlier. Anyway, I've done this twice successfully, now. You buddy the evee, get two candies, then evolve it when it is still your buddy during the day.

When gamepress says it...then it is as good as confirmed.
They don't deal in speculation.

I've done it twice aswell. Just don't change Buddy before evolving, I did that once...
