Entei vs Tyranitar

Good point. I had a maxed Ttar which completely smashed Arcanine, I'd imagine it will do the same to Entei.

However, it might also be to do with the higher defence of Entei which will lower the power of Bite significantly because it lacks super effective. I'm not sure about this, because all other counters (except gyarados dragonite) have super effective moves so the breakpoint is not as crucial.

Because it doesn't output as much damage. Stone Edge is lackluster compared to Gyarados' Hydro Pump or Dragonite using 2 Outrages even though they deal neutral damage.

Both of these are comparable to Tyranitar as they also have a single resistance and somewhat similar stats

I have two high level B/SE Tyranitars and I will continue to use them against Entei. They do great damage and I can easily dodge Entei's charge moves due to the fast attack of Bite.

Keep using them proudly, they do a great job.

My only gripe is the autoselector picks Tyrantir over better alternatives like Vapereon.

Why it refuses to pick Vapereon is driving me nuts.

The game auto-select always picks my se ttars and my two highest cp rt/se golems, plus a couple others. I always add in my last rt/se golem, and my top three vapes. This squad lasts for at least 200 seconds, and I almost always get a personal damage bonus, unless I have to come back in. I've tried to think of ways to optomize further, but haven't come up with one.
