The end of my water event...dang!

I work 4 days a week. About 15 hours a day. My "weekend" is Wed, Thu, and Friday. So I spent a huge part of those days hunting for the Shiny magikarp. No luck. I ended up with an Omastar, 2 new Lapras, Qwilfish (which I did not have before event), and a whopping 833 Magikarp candy. And not a single shiny magikarp.

I live in a biome where I'm generally lucky to catch a magikarp once a week. So my best (and near only) chance was during this event. I'm back to work tomorrow so I won't have more than 20 min or so a day. I know all it takes is one lucky fish, but so far it's been 200+ unlucky fish.

When exactly does this event end? Anyone know for sure? Seems this event just sort of happened out of the blue with no build-up. Not even exactly sure when it started.

It'll come, always does in time. Wish I worked as much as I played (working on that too).

Run incense at work throughout the day(s), and play as much as you can when you can (to and from work). More importantly, try to play next Wednesday if you can till event ends, it ends 1pm Cali time.

That's 4pm Florida time. I usually wake up around noon on wednesday (first day of the weekend for me). I'll bomb up to my usual walking place and hoof it until 4PM.
