Is Eggy w/ Solar Beam a max out candidate?

With Confusion, yes he is. Mine at level 34.5 is badass as both an attacker and defender - and he also melts any Blissey, even the 3000+ CP ones, pretty easily.

Tbh, level 30 is good enough. I have a Confusion/Seed bomb one that already wrecks 28xx Blisseys by dodging only charge moves. I also have a confusion solar one but I'm probably going to bring that to level 30, not any further.

If you regularly tackle 3k Blisseys though (and tons of vaporeon), then I suppose powering it up over level 30 is justified.

Confusion/Solar is the best moveset for Exeggutor anyway, until they do moves rebalance at least.

Confusion will be the best, BS is better than ZH if used as a specialist.

Just at Level 30 eggy... It can melt already a Nurse with 3K....

The game needs not to be played strictly reasonable.

If you use your exeggutor often and have fun with it, you will be lucky to have maxed it out, even if level 30 would be sufficient. It simply feels better to chose a 2650CP Eggy than a 2450CP one.

If you often use it, there will be moments when you miss a dodge and your eggy survives with a slim health-bar and you say - yes, this investment was worth it.
