Eggman: Extrasensory v Confusion

I see that GamePress rank Extrasensory above Confusion for Eggman's quick move - is it not generally thought that you can only fit in one quick move for both of these two when dodging everything? So should Confusion not rank higher as it is more powerful? I know they're both A-rated movesets so the difference is not significant, and I never managed to get a C/SoB variation so I'm happy to see Es is ranked higher - just wondering whether people generally agree with this?

Maybe it's because extrasensory charges faster when not dodging... and the faster you get Sob the better your dps overall right?

Both are powerful, and melt things fast. It would be more personal choice as much as anything else.
I will still grab my C/SoB first.

As attackers:
Confusion 20dmg, exactly 1 hit between emery attack. More dps.
Extrasensory or zen, 12 dmg. The hit rhythm alternates between 2 an 1 between dodge, like: 2-1-2-1... More eps.
Try it.

I reserve my Confusion mon as gym defenders. I much prefer to attack with Extrasensory or Bullet Seed since dodging is so much easier.

Extrasensory is better from my experience. It's made for attacking
