Egg distance counter!

I read somewhere that they improved the distance counter with the latest release that included the buddy system, but it actually seems worse! I just walked 5k with the app open the whole time, in 2-4 bar cell service areas, and it recorded under 3k! So annoying! If the distance counter were actually accurate, I would be at least a level higher by now. UGH

Is the counter that ridiculously inaccurate in other areas of the USA? I'm on the southwest coast.

Degrading people doesn't make you look smart. It only shows people how much of an asshole you are.

If you live in an area with intermittent reception like I do, try force the phone to prefer 3G (or even 2G) instead of 4G/LTE. Your data becomes slower, but more reliable way, and it won't keep dropping signal every couple steps.
