Egg Distance and Evolve Candy for Gen II Pokemon?

On the pages for the future Gen II Pokemon, the egg distances and evolution costs are listed. Are those just guesses, or were they calculated, and if so, how?

I think they're just guesses.

I can't find anything for what it will cost to evolve a Kingdra. It's only for Pokemon that they can appear to line up with Gen1 somehow.

I'm actually really curious if Kingdra will be 100/150/200/250/400 to evolve. We have 25/100 so it may be 200 most likely, but could really differ. Kind of hoping to save a few strong Kingdra evolves for when it comes out to immediately field a strong team.

In the main games, eggs are also hatched based on how far you walk and there are different tiers for distances required. Pokemon Go egg distances are based, at least partly, on the main game egg distances, with a few changes pushing up or down.

Any guesses on candy to evolve are probably just based on the current evolution requirements, based on how many times a pokemon can evolve. It is possible for new evolutions like Kingdra and Crobat that current costs for Seadra and Golbat might change to fit the current 25/100 model, or they might be something new like 50/75 or 50/100.
