Eevee evolution problem

You didn't get punished, you were just unlucky. At first I didn't know that the name trick would only work once so each time I named my Eevees Rainer and for the 6 first evolutions all I got was Vaporeons. I just got lucky, haven't been as lucky lately though :)

Good. I am tired of seeing Vaporeon. I have a 100% Vape and I haven't touched her since I got her. That was like 9 levels ago. They should have made Evee more rare or raise her evolve to 100 candies.

That's weird and it sucks. Vaporean seems to be the only one that's worth something in the game right now. I agree with xkilk, they should raise the amount of candies needed to evolve Eevee, but it's too late now for that. Everyone has multiples of all 3 Eeveelutions. Also, why is Eevee in a 10K egg when you can find one on every corner. She's on the sightings almost as much as Pidgey's & Rattattas.

Have you done the following?

Rename your eeveeloutions instead of keeping them the trick names (Pyro, Rainer and Sparky)

Signout of Pokemon Go

Restart your phone

Sign back in

Nickname your Eevee (s)
Evolve and enjoy!

This method works for me and my friends and although its anecdotal evidence it is worth trying out. If this method isn't true then my friends and I are just lucky. Although I doubt its luck since the results speak for themselves. .. I would like to see if it works for others...perhaps it has to do with cached info or data in the app...signing out after renaming eeveeloutions something else then restarting your device and sign back in... After that rename your Eevee the trick names and evolve! Like I said it works for my friends and I 100% of the time.

Bad luck, I'd say. I have evolved 6 vaporeon, 6 jolteon and 8 flareon, but definitely had a long period where I was evolving either jolteon or flareon.

Man, I thought I was the only one this has been happening to. I have evolved 7 Eevee's above 95 IV (four perfect) and 4 were Jolteon and 3 were Flareon. I get it, statistically it is possible but man it just feels odd.
