early gym observations
Ok so :
Attacking - defeat a 'mon and you lower it's CP. It seems to be 1/5th max cp per defeat. Reduce it to 0 to remove it, clear gym to take over.
Defending : no more gym levels/prestige, 6 slots, enemy fights against order they were put in not CP. No more than 1 of the same poke.
Click defender to feed berries, this restores it's CP and gets you stardust and gym xp
Your added 'mons need to be fed once to get full cp
Gyms Can be spun like stops but you get more rewards more you use gym
Fights look cooler but are basically same
Super effective does even more dmg so dragonites, gyrados, rhydon and tyrannitar are even worse on Def - since CP no longer matters dust off lapras, wigglytuffs, eeveeloutions and ofc snorlax and blissey
just what i've seen on a walk by local gyms - 1 friendly where i added a 'mon and fed both to top up their CP, and 1 defended by 2 pokes on 50% motivation each - it must decay fast as gyms had only be live for about an hour or so.
