Dust, RC and TM investment plans
Sitting on 1.4 million dust, 295 RC, 18 FTMs and 9 CTMs. Recently reached level 38.
I roughly know what I will invest dust (and RC/TMs) on in the near future:
1. 75k dust on a 93% Chansey with ZH/DG once I have enough candy (walking her for Adventure Week)
2. Almost 100k dust (and maybe 62 RC) on a Flareon or Moltres with FS/OH once Jynx returns to tier 3 or the Regis take over the Latis.
3. 75k dust (and TMs as necessary) on a 93% Larvitar, plus more on my best catches, during/after Community Day.
Current main goal is to get gold badges on two specific gyms, which I will repeatedly raid at, feed berries (when it is blue) and attack (when it is not). This means grinding potions and berries by the hundreds. Of course, getting coins, doing legendary raids and soloing tier 3 raids will remain important.
Should I invest in anything for immediate impact on the above? Candidates include:
A. 150k dust on a 98% Machamp (I have two, both 14A, and already maxed out a perfect Machamp).
B. 75k dust and 57 RC on a 12/15/13 Lugia with ES/SA to save potions when attacking Normal-type tanks.
C. 75k (or more) dust on a 96% Abra and TMs as necessary to get FoB, for attacking Normal-type tanks (already have two Alakazams and an Espeon with FS for Machamp solos).
Just updated my key attackers (and defenders) in my GamePress box, so feel free to refer to it.

Blissey is an ok necessity for his competitive area, however, even if maxed it might actually be a bit of a magnet for enemies. (However those on his team might Golden razz it too). Rationale, they attack your big Blissey bc you are 38 and less likely to have 400+ GRazz and less likely to net 40+ GR each day. However, maybe less likely to be shaved
Alakazam is a very good potion efficient Blissey attacker. I used two Focus Blast Alakazams a lot back before I got a Mewtwo. Then, I leveled up my Machamps to lvl 36+ and stopped using Mewtwo for this. Machamps are faster.
But now that I am on a potion drought (havent been able to raid much lately), I am using FB Mewtwo again, despite him being slower.
What I am trying to say is that if you REALLY find yourself needing potions, then, and only then, you should power up that Abra/Alakazam.
Otherwise just use your Hariyama and Machamps.
Congrats on having a Mewtwo. Doubt I will ever get one.
In high-density Singapore, raids (whether legendary or tier 3 solo) use relatively few potions (and stocking up on potions is easy), but golden razzberry feeding is prevalent. I have to fight hard for gym coins, even if I strategically choose gyms that are less likely to be fed or that are already under attack. Repeatedly attacking specific gyms for badge XP (even if I fail to take them down) burns through potions at a ridiculous rate. That is what I would most use a level 30 Alakazam with Cn/FB or a level 30 Lugia with ES/SA for, alongside my maxed Machamp with Ct/DP (and possibly a second).
Indeed, thats why I need to start raiding again to stock up on potions and revives.
If you are going to attack the gyms like you say then Alakazam will work great. Usually Machamp is good when you need to win fast. If time is not a factor then you will love Alakazam.
Dont give up on Mewtwo. Worst case scenario you can plan a trip in the future to a lower density place for an easy EX-raid pass :DDD good luck!!
