Drapion in PvP

I have one at 82% 1468CP 13/13/11 Poison Sting/Sludge Bomb. Folds like a house of cards. Infestation/Sludge Bomb is the best moveset but after it's dismal performance doubt I'll bother TM'ing.

I didn't use him, but it's only weak to ground and has access to Aqua Tail, so it should pretty good tbh

I tried one as it came - Poison Sting/Crunch and it was very mediocre. Not awful but there are better options.

Having only one weakness is dang good, but there are strong ground types in the Great League. You may have more success with Drapion in the Ultra league due to maxing out (with max IVs) just under 2500. It does have good charge moves for PvP including Aqua Tail for decent coverage. The problem lies in Drapion's fast moves; neither are particularly great. I'd pick Poison Sting due to it giving you more energy in PvP than Infestation. Drapion's Atk isnt the best, nor it's HP, but solid defense stat might help it as a lead since you can force the enemy to blow shields or face being buried by constant charge moves. Problem with Ultra League is Giratina will outlast it. Plus for Drapion is it resists ghost type moves.
