Dragonite....Best attacking Moveset?
Alright so i got a Dragonite i caught in the wild a while back. 87% IV 15/13/11. I was looking at the Attacking Tier set and DB/DC is a moveset listed as one of the best attacking movesets. So here is my questions. At level 15 it would take alot more dust than i have to power him up(i have the candy though) should i save dust to power him up(rework will probably be done by the time i do have enough dust) or should i just keep him as a prestiger? 1512 CP would be pretty good against a Dragonite tower maybe? IDK let me know what you all think i should do, I also think That is a legacy Moveset.

It's one of the very best attackers in the game. If you value dodging then he will do better than most any others mons for you. For Dragons (now that so many have DT) I prefer ice mons although I'll send in the Dragons if after my first run I find some with SW or HB.
It's a monster attacker if you dodge reliably. Only B/SE Tyranitar for me has similar power and speed.

DB/DC is my favorite Dragonite moveset, as it is great for players who dodge often. It is one of the best and most useful attackers in the game. However, it is a poor choice for prestiger, as it gets it's strength from some of the highest base CP in the game, rather than type counters -- it does not hit above what you'd expect based on CP level, like you'd want in a prestiger.
One valid reason to hold off powering up would be waiting for the gym rework. However, we know little about when that will arrive and what it will entail, so it is also perfectly valid to continue playing as usual.
I have an exactly same Dnite, same IV/MS but at level 13, I don't power it up, because I already had another 3 Dnite with DB/DC and DP, all above 3100CP. after gen2 I tried to get DT/OR, but just got 3 HB in a row(that still hurts), no luck yet, so I’m thinking just keep that one as is in case one day trade come out, so I can trade for a DT/OR, B/SE, ZH/BS sort of things...
DB/DC dragonite is still, til this day, my all-time favorite generalist attacker. That's why he always appeared in alot of my test videos hahah.
Although it doesn't have the raw dps power of the DT/OR, the nimbleness of this moveset makes most others feel clunky.
The only other that is close in nimbleness is B/SE tyranitar, though I prefer the "face-slapping" quick attack animation of dragonite hahah
