Dragonite still reigning king?

Is it?
probably yes...
A DB/DC Dragonite should be the number 1 attacker overall...
Still despite its slight boost... it seems as if it lost some of its shininess.
Other mons are catching up CP-wise and it loses defence making it more of a glass cannon than before.
I guess dodging is more relevant now for the Dragonite and that can only be a good thing since some semblance of skill is now required...

Thoughts?

Dragonite is still easily the most effective attacker.

Stamina remains unchanged. Only base attack and defence changed. Dragonite got a ~5% increase in attack and a ~5% reduction in defence which won't make a difference in most fights because of the rounding in the damage formula.

They're still one of the best, if not the best attackers. Alakazam has similar base attack and defence to Dragonite, and similar DPS from optimal movesets, but lacks stamina, hence the lower CP.

A 5% decrease in defence does not make Dragonite a "glass cannon". It's not a significant difference. Dragonite's effectiveness is more or less the same as before, but it's effectiveness relative to others has been lowered though, because several pokemon received bigger increases.

Don't you worry, homie. Dragonite is still King.

Still highest CP so optimal gym defender.

Still insane stats with ultra efficient typing.

On top of all that, Wiggly gets nerfed hard...and Fairies are really Dragonite's only weakness besides Ice
