I wouldn't. Answer yourself: why do you need it for? It's not a good attacker due to SW, too low CP and IV for defender. I caught 7, 5 were better than this one, one (best, DB/DC) flew away. You were OK without it till now and this one won't help soon or cost (maybe too) much.

It's definitely not worth it. I have a 900 ish CP dragonite with SW/HB and ~70% IV in the same boat (41 candy). Simply too low to be worth powering.

Yours is worse with the moveset and IV.

I'm keeping a 50ish iv maxed right now and don't regret it at all. It's at 3000 despite low IV's so it's still at the top of gyms.

Ivs aren't everything but that cp is far too low to power up. It would take a ton of candy. Maybe if you caught it at 2500 or something. Sorry for your loss man.

Like everybody said but if you still wanna power that up wait until you get over 100 candies saved, If you power that now with 42 candies it wont be functional and if your luck sucks you may find a 2000 cp dragonite tomorrow.
