Dragonite - outrage or draco meteor?

So now se know it will be possible to get draco meteor on dragonite during community day event. I want to ask what is better and why? What is your opinion on this?

Draco Meteor is pretty bad ass, and seems to be the only advantage of Salamence vs. Dragonite.

Will we be able to charge TM or will only caught Dratini have access to Draco Meteor? Will it translate of Dratini evolves to Dragonite?

Looks like they patched that. There is a side note saying "evolve or catch only".
I was planning to tm one of older pulse nite and be done with it until I saw official page.

TM will not work. Only dragonites caught or evolved during the community day event will have Draco Meteor

I evolved two Pikachus with Surf during the last event, and didn't get Surf on the Raichu. Maybe I was just unlucky.

It's different this time. They specifically say you can evolve it. With pika it wasn't possible.

Outrage is the stronger move. But if you already have some Dragonites with Outrage, a little more DPS from Draco Meteor would be cool. Both are very strong moves.

Will it really have a higher dps? This would make Draco meteor the stronger move, a least for raids...

id rather pair dragon breathe with draco meteor than dragon tail. but will you be able to evolve caught dratinis from that day or any dratinis that are currently in your storage?

Only if you always die just after launching Draco Meteor. It theoretically has higher cycle DPS but in reality we're looking at average performance over a large number of situations and Outrage performs better.
