Dragonite as Entei counter

Why is dragonite conisdered only to be a good counter towards entei, when in the legendary beast analysis page it has almost identical DPS and TDO as the supreme counter golem? Am I missing something here?

If anything Golem doesn't deserve to be supreme to begin with. In a single resist and single SE perspective, Outrage Dragonite does just as well as Golem for speed and stamina as you mentioned. It's only when the double resist case (raikou zapdos) and double SE case (moltres) where golem pulls away...

and Golem pulls away if you don't count dragonite massive attack. If Golem and Dragonite deal about the same damage and Golem lives longer, obviously Golem is a better choice, because you have to dodge less, if dodge at all, and you can raid with less trainers.

Dragonite is has soo many resistances and has stab moves that have really high base damage. He is very OP. Hitting so many typings for neutral high base damage, and still being Tanky, was the problem with "dragon" typing in all poke games pre gen6

From 1 month experience on Entei, from Double rock Golem, HP Vape and Outrage Dragonite use whatever is higher level. The difference is marginal (1-2 seconds) in favor of one or another based on Entei moveset.
If you want to three man Entei, start with dragonite and vapes and rejoin with golems since they are always pucked by autobselect.
