Dragon quest task idea

Probably an obvious idea but, I just spun a "catch a dragon type for 3 rare candy".

I actually did catch a Bagon yesterday and another one two weeks ago (which earned me a research task Dratini). It can happen, it just doesn't often happen.

Next time shouldn't I just save any Dratini research encounters for future dragon tasks?

YEs, that is the best course of action

I really hope they add domethign where dragon raid bosses become a thing, like maybe dratini and bagon as tier 3's

They could make an 8 step quest on every type, and in the end you choose from 3 of the best Pokemon from the type to catch, (12/12/12 baseline IV) with optimal moveset.
