Downloading new updates via APKmirror before store release - against ToS?

I've always wondered, is that against the ToS? Since I want to max my Pokemon, I want to have the new Update as soon as possible, but I'm afraid of possible consequences and don't want to do anything against the ToS, thanks in advance!

Can't be worse than logging into multiple phones to power up to the same amount.

No it isn't against the ToS to get the official app from your preferred source.

Key word here is "official". Installing a modified APK is of course going to be against the TOS. There's also the risk of malware from alot of these types of hosting sites, but APKmirror is very reputable.
