double xp and double flee rate, right?

I have also noticed that mons seem to flee more often now. Ran into a 663 Dragonite this morning and it fled after like 5 raspberry all with ultraballs. Also happened to other more common mons.

Twice the XP and twice as hard to catch... I also noticed more red balls and fewer blue, black and berries from pokestops. It isnt as bad now as it was earlier in the day so maybe the more you play that goes away some.

Considering I have gold medals for flying and normal I don't understand why green circle pidgeys are always breaking free. Sometimes they even escape the great ball. What gives?
