Is Donphan kinda that bad?

Submit Feedback or Error

Ive read on in gamepress and reddit, they "tell" me that Donphan is not worse to spend dust even get optimal moveset (For defender: Cou/PR, for attacker: Cou/EQ). Is that true ?

Donphan has good base stats and no double weaknesses. It's moves are mismatched tho. It's good for Rhydon with Counter and Earthquake

I currently have a 89iv phanphy and enough candy.

Tempted to wait till he gets better moves...but who knows if, what and when.

Think of it as a Rhydon without a double weakness but worse moves. Definitely has an upper level nitch.
