Does weather bonus also cause higher IV spawns?
I didn't do a lot of catching after the new generation came out yesterday, but from what I did catch, I thought that not only were the CPs of the spawns affected by weather higher, but the IVs as well. For example, we were "cloudy" (so fighting/poison/fairy were affected), and I caught a lvl 29 machop with 93% IVs, a lvl 30 machop with 87%, and a very high level beedrill with 80%+ IV (which I discarded).
So do the weather-affected spawns also have egg- or raid-quality IVs (minimum of 10/10/10)? Or just a case of small sample size and luck?

Starting them with a minimum of 5/5/5 makes more sense (I didn't save any of the few I caught that weren't under 80%). As someone whose powered up pokemon consist almost solely of ones that were hatched or caught in raids (with the exception of a few gyarados and eevolutions), it's a nice wrinkle that on a "cloudy" day you now have a puncher's chance of running across something like a high IV machop that doesn't need much powering up after evolution.
My data agrees with the 5/5/5 hypothesis. Caught a total of 8 mon over level 30 last night after the update, all with weather buffs, and the lowest stat was 5, with 4 of them having that value. Other than that, seemed randomly distributed between 5 to 15. No 0 to 4 is a nice bump, not as nice as 10 to 15, but still nice.
It seemed that way to me yesterday, like practically half the weather-boosted pokemon I caught appraised as wonders. Today, however, I've only caught a couple things, but just now found a Sunkern with 66 CP, 27 HP, and 1000 dust to power up that turned out to have 5/5/4 for its IVs. That seems lower than anything I got yesterday, although it's possible it was because the weather only just switched over to sunny right before I caught it.
