Does gym time during raids count towards coins?

If I place a pokemon on a gym right before a raid starts, and someone knocks me off right after the raid, do I get credit (coins) for the time it's on the gym during the raid? I haven't been able to test this personally.

I believe that to be the case.

Yes and it is one of the Great Cancers. The infestation of incompetent players are abusing this, especially the level 23 trainers leaving 11CP Eevees at the back of gyms because "why not?" Is just and balanced.
