Does the game think you're cheating if you're "good"???
Honestly so angry right now.
I missed my last two Mewtwo in a row, where every single throw I made was an excellent curveball.
Just got to a third Mewtwo and sure enough, every throw was an excellent curve and Mewtwo popped out before the ball even shook. At this point I had the circle to about as small as I can before it resets to max size because I can't seem to catch it.
Then, I miss a throw, barely hitting outside the circle. And I catch it.
Almost 30 consecutive excellent curves across three different Mewtwo with not only no catch, but almost every throw being not even a ball wiggle. Then the very first throw I miss, I catch it?
It's really making me wonder if the game thinks I'm using some kind of app to make my throws for me. It seems to regularly get in these cycles of not even shaking the ball. If I resize the circle again the ball seems to shake at least.
I guess I'm probably just having some really stupid luck... Still, has anyone else experienced this?

I was perfect on the birds, and had been perfect on a limited number of Mewtwo (had been on vacation so didn't raid much, maybe 10) with excellent curves and pinap, switching to Golden Razz with 7 balls left (and only got that far on like 10-20%).
Then suddenly just not catching at all. Before the two I missed, I was using up every ball. And my throws haven't changed - excellent curves. Only until recently where I made the excellent circle much smaller just because it was getting so hard to catch, but that seems to have only made it harder...
During Mewtwo's month run (still going) I was something like 7/9, then I had one day where I did 6 raids, and only caught on the last one, on the last ball. Since then, I haven't missed a catch.
I wonder if there's a bug in the code that makes a large circle excellent less effective than the near smallest circle great (which is still bigger than any excellent circle). Or it could be random numbers being streaky.
I have noticed that when I get an excellent hit on a really small circle, it's very often a catch. Had a 2258, was down to my second to last ball, and nailed the tiniest excellent circle, caught it. That's my top IV one from this series. Not having much luck with the 90%+ ones.
During the last 3 Mewtwo raids, I've hit 90% Excellent Curveballs with Golden Razzberries and caught it on the Last Ball or Second-to-Last Ball. Each Raid I've had 12-16 balls. So I've thrown 30-32 Excellent Curveballs without catching in my last 3 Mewtwo raids.
Then I also had an issue on two straight days where for about 10 minutes each day (around noon EST on both days), I thought I had been soft banned. Every Pokémon was running from me after the first ball (most of them hit with Great Curveballs) and no Pokestops would spin for me (and my bag was nowhere near full). About halfway through my "Nearby" screen would blank out for a minute, then come back with nothing but "common" Pokémon. Then it just cleared up on its' own after about 10 minutes of annoyances.
I've had other glitches lately as well, like Pokémon - who were not weather boosted - being frozen as if they were weather boosted during a weather change (ie: it's on the screen but you can't tap on them), gyms saying "You can't add a Pokémon at this time" when there is room on a gym and the gym isn't under attack, and numerous times where I've gotten the "you can't use that item now" and not being able to feed a berry to a Pokémon on a gym.
I think it has to do with all the changes coming in, honestly. If they persist after the CP rework and other changes, then I'll start filing reports.
