Does Anything make sense Now?
So playing hard and moving up a level means pretty much nothing now .
Your pokes that are over 3000 and I'm sure you worked hard to get them to that are now being punished for being super strong.
We want to only control a gym for a few hours then hope someone takes us out so we can get paid??? Why would we WANT to be defeated!!??
Now 5 freeloaders can jump into gyms after one dude takes out a team.
The old system had it's flaws but still made sense. This new gym system makes no sense to me at all and gives no motivation to collect xp or power up your guys.
I'm almost at lv35 spending no money at all... but I know a lot of ppl spend big bucks on this game to make there powerful army ... id be super p!ssed if I spent a lot of money and they change the whole dynamic of the game. I don't know how others feel but since the update ... I've lost a Lot of motivation for this game

Diablo 3 is not same game when you bought it.
World of Warcraft is not same game you bought it.
mtg steam version: Developers say they wont add more cards in future.
Imagine all guys who bought lot of coins to get cards unlocked and now game is left to rotten.
Many online games just moves on and changes.
If you want game that doesnt change, go play singleplayer games, they mostly just get bug fixes.
You can even go play pokemon red and its propably same game as it was released long time ago.
Im not defending, im just telling how online game world works.
Game developers dont ask your opinion what makes sense to you.
They make game that feels makes sense for them.
Thats why many HC players get angry for developers, cus they devoted much time for the game and only see how it slowly turns into something else.
This game is free to play, its even worst than pay to play online game.
They need to make money.
You can expect much changes coming in future.

What do you mean? People loooooooooove this new system.
- We didn't need 100 coins a day for defending gyms.
- We didn't need 500 stardust per defender for defending gyms.
- We didn't need 10 slot gyms where the minimum CP to stay in was 3000CP.
- We didn't need attackers, defenders and prestiegers.
Nope, we didn't need any of it when we have
- Good old 50 coins a day....Wait, that is a rival comes along and kicks your pokemon out the gym...ok bad example.
- We got good old feeding berries to teammates for 20 stardust a pop........Wait, that's if you are in a area where your team can actually keep a gym and when winter comes no one will want to go out there to feed berries.....Ok bad example.
- We have great gyms with 6 slots open all the time for little timmy who is level 9 can put in his metapod and feel great hes in the gym........Wait, what? Metapod? are you kidding me? a fuking metapod!!?
- All pokemon are now treated equally and every pokemon have a chance to sit in the gym at the same level and be respected.......Wait.....so dragonite can sit there next to dunsparce and get booted before it?....ok Bad example
Um yea. I cant help here. I know for me I'm just collecting perfect movesets, TMs, golden razzberries and rare candy at the moment. You will have to find a meta that works for you :)
You can go visit Diablo 3 forums and see how 2500h played guys are whining how developers have betrayed them, because game have changed so much.
Same shit happens with all online games.
Its stupid to even expect that online game just stays the same.
And you can even expect more changes for this game.
Or diablo 3 or world of warcaft, just to mention few.

You're missing the core issue.
Are "New" players coming in and spending coins more than "Old" players like me are stopping.
I've spent over 500in 10 monthes. So thats $50 a month I am willing to subscribe to.
I'm not spending another dime until I decide the system makes sense.
There's no point. I don't need better pokemon I need random whatever.
