does adventure sync count steps?

Mine has been zero all day. Guess you need to actually use Google fit or something.

I don't know what app Android uses. On iPhone, it uses the iOS Health app, which is passively always tracking steps in the background. I opened the health app about a month ago for the first time, and it had my step info going back presumably to when I first got this phone.

You need to have Google fit installed on Android. Supposedly it draws the step information from there.
