I'm so tired of people waiting for me to take down a gym and put their Pokémon in there when their not on my team. So I came up with this idea where when a team takes down a gym their team has 10 seconds where only there team can put a Pokémon in it.

Yes something like this would be a great addition.

Sounds like newbie
There will be always two teams taking down the current one
To make it fair, the current defending team is not allow to take over for the next time when the gym is down

This has been discussed a lot and I'm sure Niantic will come up with something to fix this. This isn't really a problem where I live in but I do understand that in some cities this is a major problem.
