Do you think Crobat will be a good Pokémon to use in Gym Battles?

I have a 100% IV Golbat and was wondering if Crobat would be a good enough Pokémon for Gym Battles, once its expected max CP will be somewhere around 2500. If so, I hope to have luck getting the best possible moves. Also, Zubat is a relatively common Pokémon, so it will be easy to obtain candies.

My only other 100% IV Pokémon is a Flareon, but its charge move is Heat Wave. I also do have a 100% Eevee waiting for Generation 2 Pokémon to arrive. I hope to evolve it into an Espeon or Umbreon.

I'm level 24.

I hope so! I have a lvl 26 96% Golbat. I think the best we can hope for if no moves are added or changed is Wing attack/Sludge Bomb

I'd guess that it's likely to get X-scissor and Cross poison though

With the rise of Psychic-Types with the introduction of Espeon and the buffed Alakazam I'm sure Crobat will have a dark type niche.

Wing attack Crobat will be an excellent counter for all those fighting types, bug types and non-Exeggutor grass types you see in gyms.

Celebi
Heracross
Scizor

have great stats and maybe will be found in gyms at the same time crobat will be available.

Celebi wont be available.
Scizor will be Bug/Steel, resists pretty much everything except fire
Heracross will be crushed by flying types, but wont a good defender.
I love Crobat, but i dont think he'll be good.
