Do gym spins and/or raid catches count for an x-day streak?

I'm trying to sync my spin and catch streaks back up for future lucky egg use, so tomorrow, I'm not going to spin or catch.

I figure I can still gym battle - that's not part of a streak, but can I:

- Spin a GYM (not pokestop) disc? Will that be a spin streak?
- Catch a Raid Boss? Will that be a catch streak? I figure I can always Raid and skip the catch stage...

Gym spin counts. I don't know about raid catch but I don't see a reason for it not to count.
btw, the best way to synchronize is to skip the spin on the day of your 7 day catch. This way you don't need to break the catch streak.

I'm not 100% sure of the mechanics, but I know if you don't have a free raid pass and tap on a gym with a raid, it will automatically give you a pass. It may automatically spin for you as well, but, like I said, I'm not totally sure of the mechanics there.

And catching the raid boss would absolutely count towards your streak. I know that one for sure.

Yea they both counts but remember. You dont have to spin gym to get your raid pass. So just visit a gym and get a pass if you havent. That way you may save your pass and reset spins.

I think you only get the pass automatically (with no spin) if there is an active raid at the gym.

But yes gym spins count for streaks (I always try to spin a gold gym on day 7). Yes, raid boss catches count for streaks as well. They are catches after all (I have also seen it).
