Has the rates for catching dittos been affected by the current hoenn event? I haven't caught a ditto since this event started, where i would usually get at least 1 a week

Probably.

Many of the species that Ditto would hide as aren't spawning, and Ditto isn't a Hoenn Pokémon, so it would be surprising if the Ditto rates were the same now as they were prior to the event.

Bruh I needed to catch 3 more Gulpins for the special research and guess what it was? Ditto. I got trolled and it didn't count as a Gulpin. lmao
