Ditto Idea!?
I think, Ditto will be used like that: At some point of the game, they will realese Legendary Pokemon, so u will not be able to catch them, but u can use your ditto to transform in whatever u want, and will have a option to make the ditto stay transformed forever or not! (Once that ditto is, for me, still uselles at gym!!
What do guys think? Thats crazy shit?

Ditto has never been able to retain a transformation post-fight as far as I know. He transforms for the duration of the battle but then changes back - even in the original pokemon games.
Ditto could still be useful in copying legendaries in gyms once they're out. Legendaries will be almost impossible to power up (unless the buddy distance is low, but I'd imagine for balance it would be 10+ km per candy) yet they'll still be strong enough to go in gyms. Having a level 40 ditto copy a level 20 Mewtwo or something would really be a powerful gym battler despite the lower HP.
