Ditto a counter or worthless?

The previous post got me curious if there is a use for ditto.

It double resists ghosts, (.51). Ghosts are weak (1.4) to other ghosts(ditto transform). To those of you who understand the mechanics of the numbers better than I, is this something, nothing or who cares there are better mon for the gengar?
