Distance while mowing the yard?

If you move in a circle, it may record as 0.

Will get some of the distance and may be add some on its own , the distance count do very badly in small circular or repeated move also your phone and GPS signal effect the results , do it once and see

I have slightly over 1/2 acre. I try to walk the longest straight line that I can the length of my yard. According to my FitBit, I walk about 4.9 miles, but according to POGO, I get about 1.3 KM. It has to do not only with the short distances, but also with the timing of POGO in recording distances. It's not continuous, but on a pulse system. If you turn and go back in the same direction, it may not even see that you moved.

Last summer it recorded a little distance from mowing my lawn. One of the updates since then ruined tracking, though. It seems that even when Niantic gets a feature working properly, they have to screw it up.
