Disappointment about legendary birds

The Gen 1 legendaries always had to share their time, first with Lugia and then in the second wave with each other. That is why I have only ever seen 5 Moltres despite doing an average of 2 raids per day.

So I got super excited when they brought back Lugia and gave him some exclusive time. But now with Latios & Latias being around until June, we know for sure that the other birds won't get any exclusive time for the next 2 months.

Even if we can get one of the birds per week as quest reward, they will be much rarer than all the other legendaries. Is Anyone else bothered by this?

Rumor has it: a bird is in the box at the end of a week of Research tasks.

That would be amazing, but let's say I will get 3 moltres through those boxes until June, my total Moltres count will be at 8 and I will most likely still not have one worth of powering up.
In the same time I could get 60 Latias and 60 Latios if I only do tier 5 raids.

I like the birds, a lot. I have a perfect Articuno but would love the chance to obtain some extra candy for any of the three. However, at the same time, I'm not sure the fact that they're not back again warrants disappointment. I, for one, am excited about the possibility of Legendaries being introduced in an alternative manner, and I'm sure others feel the same way too. And maybe we'll see them back in raids at some stage, who knows!

I mean, I've only done 3 raids ever. So I don't have any legendaries or mythicals. But honestly, I'm not bothered by this. I mean, most of the legendary Pokemon have gotten at least 25+ days in raids (except for the Gen 1 birds). But over a span of 2 months doesn't sound TOO over the board. If it was around 3 and a half months, I think that would be TOO long.

I was on hiatus when the legendary birds were raid bosses. Bring them back! Especially Articuno (my team bird and no competition from the second-generation legendaries).
