Dilemma!!!

Which metagross should i power up?? I can't decide for myself, need you guys to tell me!!

-2899 CP, 14-15-15, 98%, shiny and lucky
-266 CP, 15-10-12, 82%, not shiny and not lucky.

I think i'm leaning towards the second one. It's gonna cost lots of stardust and is only 82%, BUT IT HAS 15 ATTACK!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO??

You should transfer both of them Kappa.

I was thinking of transferring the lucky. No point keeping it really if it only has 14 attack. It's worthless.

14 Attack and 15 Attack makes no difference on a Meteor Mash Metagross. I recommend the shiny lucky 98%.

I think you should TM the first one for ZH / Flash Cannon. 14 Attack... well, I guess Scizor is still worse, so don't worry.

The big question here is - why did you evolve the 2nd one? You reaaally didn't have any better option after 3+1 hours of the event?

Had lots of spare candy. I also evolved a 0% one :D

You never know who might want a meteor mash metagross in future. Wish i'd evolved more pokemon on previous community days.

Why would you power up a Metagross when you can power up a Bidoof? What can Metagross do that a Bidoof can't?

I know this is a joke but don't power up any. If he is already level 30 that is sufficient as steel moves are barely useful in PoGo. Nobody should be powering these guys up. Save your dust.

A maxed Metagross with Meteor Mash makes for a very bulky generalist gym attacker, resisting every move (except Earthquake) that the Normal-type tanks have.

Easier to dodge than Dragon Tail / Outrage, ridiculously powerful generalist and bulky thanks to a ton of resistances. I don’t see what can hold you from maxing out. Have you tried it in gym battles? At L40 is faster than anything against Blissey except for Machamp, who needs to dodge, and kicks Clefable, Wigglies and Gardevoir like they’re made of butter. Definitely the best gym attacker all round in the game.

This question is pointless. You should obviously transfer them both and delete this question. Instead of wasting your precious time you could be asking which one of your 40 shadow claw Gengars to power up. Now THAT would be a real question!

I will transfer all the metagross. Then make a list of each SC Gengar with their IVs and remind everyone SC Gengar has the highest DPS against Mewtwo in the six seconds before they faint.

That will be a really interesting thread.
